Comma and politics

I don't have to say anything about why it is said to be that the highest secret in sexual relationship involves with at least 2 but  the secret in politics, this is to be with at least 3 persons.

Okay, you could agree at least a bit, but how about comma in politics, if you would ask, the answer would be not that simple since you wouldn't disagree that false friend and false pride are also the part of the norm in politics.

I don't have to say also if  comma has anything to do with political sensibility for false friend and false pride.  A 'false friend' is yet understood as a term by means in which one has a wrong character with other fellow(s). And a 'false pride' is understood as a term by means in which one has the upbringing with  the wrong belief about a society image against other societies.       

In language, similarly, the former is governed by a word but the latter is governed usually by a phrase or by a clause alternatively when in particular if comma involves.

Logically speaking, then, 'false pride' involves when only comma involves but 'false friend' involves everywhere. 

In politics, yet differently, the sensibility is, needless to say, understood not as the struggle among social classes but as the struggle among educated classes for statuses in societies and so for flexing the muscles instead alternatively.

Here is an article brought up via LangLing RSS today, written by a fellow of an academia and journalism by the name of Ralf Julke about comma and politics. The English translation provided bellow is however not accurate and i don't  know the ways to correct it now.

     

Die Sache mit dem Komma und der politischen Verachtung für das Fach Deutsch

 Am 28. April war dann endlich das Komma da. Da hatte dann doch jemand ein Einsehen mit uns, die wir noch in Zeiten aufgewachsen sind, in denen emsige Deutschlehrerinnen mit uns Rechtschreibung und Grammatik geübt haben, bis das saß. Bis wir verinnerlicht hatten, wie man Satzzeichen richtig setzt.

Ob Erdogan seine Satzzeichen richtig setzt, ist uns eigentlich egal. Aber wir vermuten mal: Nein. Denn wer so lange mit Menschen zu tun hat wie unsereins, der weiß, dass richtiges Schreiben etwas mit richtigem Denken zu tun hat. Das geht ja heute verloren, wo die Kinder schon auf Tastaturen herumdaddeln und Deutschstunden das Allererste sind, was gestrichen wird.

Wer es nicht mitbekommen hat: Die „Zeit“ hat die Schüler selbst befragt. Auch wenn in Sachsen nicht genug Teilnehmer an der Umfrage zusammenkamen, um relevante Länderdaten zu ermitteln.

Aber die Rangliste ist klar: Mit 11,1 Prozent Ausfall führt das Fach Deutsch eindeutig die Rangliste der Ausfälle an, gefolgt von Englisch (9,7 Prozent) und Biologie (9 Prozent).

Und da wagt in diesem Land irgendjemand von Werten und (Leit-)Kultur zu sprechen?

Ein Land, das die Vermittlung seiner eigenen Sprache derart sabotiert, hat keinen Grund, über irgendwelche Werte zu schwadronieren. Gerade dass Deutsch so oft zuerst gestrichen wird, erzählt fast alles über die Ungebildetheit unserer Bildungspolitiker.

Es erzählt nicht von ihrer Abneigung gegen Goethe und Schiller. Sondern von ihrer Abneigung gegen richtiges Denken.

Denn wir denken in Bildern und in Sprache. Sprache ist die Matrix unseres Denkens. In Sprache bildet sich unsere Logik ab, unsere Fähigkeit, Dinge zu begreifen und zu artikulieren. Unsere Welt erklären wir uns über Bilder und Geschichten.

Und wenn die Sprache diffundiert (und der so gut verkäufliche Gangsta-Rap in Deutschland ist eine einzige Diffusion von Sprache), dann wird unser Denken unlogisch, unstimmig, dann verlieren wir die Fähigkeit, die Dinge zu erkennen und zu benennen. Über Sprache begreifen wir die Welt. 1. Buch Mose, Kapitel „Das Paradies“: „… denn wie der Mensch jedes Tier nennen würde, so sollte es heißen …“

Sprache macht uns fähig zur Kommunikation. Weil sie Dinge eindeutig benennt.

Die Logik steckt in der Sprache. Wer Sprache verhunzt, zerstört Kommunikation.

English Translation

Comma finally arrived. Then somebody had a sympathy with us, which we grew up in times when diligent German teachers practiced spelling and grammar with us, until that sat. Until we had internalized how to correctly set punctuation marks.

And if the language diffuses (and the so-good-selling gangsta rap in Germany is a single diffusion of language), then our thinking becomes illogical, inconsistent, then we lose the ability to recognize and name things. We understand the world through language. Genesis, chapter "Paradise": "For as a human being would call any animal, that's the name of it ..."

Language makes us capable of communication. Because she clearly names things.

The logic is in the language. Those who botch language destroy communication.
